Why Learn Spanish?
Learning Spanish is an adventure! Spanish is spoken by over 400 million people in more than 21 countries. California's history is rooted in the Spanish exploration of the Americas, AND we share an international border with the world's largest Spanish speaking country; Mexico. Spanish language skills are respected not just by employers, but also by other Spanish speakers. Learning some Spanish before traveling (to a Spanish speaking country) will get you a lot closer to the local culture and make the travel experience much more personal. Travel is one of the most rewarding experiences in life and learning a local dialect only makes it better.
What Do I Teach?
The Spanish lessons I offer are tailored to meet your goals. Whether you are a professional looking to advance your career, or a high school or college student looking for better grades and real world applications, I can help you with grammar, pronunciation, oral comprehension, reading, and writing in Spanish and English. I am a passionate instructor of the Spanish and English languages with a background in technology, business and education. I have traveled extensively throughout the Americas, studied at multiple distinguished universities and recruited Latin America's top software engineers as a member of Google’s Centralized Sourcing Team. I have lived, worked and played in Latin America, and choose to make my home in an area rooted in Hispanic culture. I have enjoyed an amazing adventure in the process of learning Spanish and want to share that experience with you. I can help you learn Spanish (and get excited about learning Spanish), help you choose a study abroad or internship abroad, help prepare your resume, and help you network your career profile to recruiters across the world.
